The French filmmaker Claire Laborey wants to make a documentary. How did the book manage to influence so many people – negatively or positively – and what effects has it had – also international.

The film will be shown on ARTE.

The director Claire Laborey wants to get in contact with you. In interviews you talked about growing up in the South of Holland in the 1980s, where the heroin problems were quite bad, and your parents gave you Christiane F to read as a warning against heroin use.

What did you think about the book? What effects has it had?
